I love these simple scenes: a medium dark dirt field, deep dark trees silhouetted against a warm late afternoon glow along the horizon, with a big sky dominated by a clean and airy grey mass of clouds. Big, simple shapes seem to offer a bit of freedom to bring out the nuance in the scene.
