Marathon Painting #77

Along Glacier Road

I've passed this little outbuilding many times and this is the first time I stopped to paint it. It seemed too obvious or something to paint, but after digging into it ai realized it wasn't just about the quaint little building. The horizon has so much variety in it,  with red oak,  popple, and pine among many other.  Also the shapes of the road and slices of land have a zip zag movement and energy to them that offsets the very still structure. I guess the lesson learned is to trust your eye. Beautiful scene.
