Ever get stuck looking for gifts for a loved one?

While I do higher end portraits in oil, I really enjoy these impressionistic watercolors where the figures are integrated into the landscape. People can always recognize the people they know, but the pressure is off to try to capture their likeness perfectly, giving us all a chance to take a deep breath and allow for a more casual and timeless slice of life. "They eye not told what to see, see's more", letting your memories of a person or place flood into the painting.
